Wrinkle Jump Terms of Service

Effective date: October 26, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Dakota Unrau (“I”, “me”), the maker of Wrinkle Jump (“the game”), for iPhone and Android. By downloading or playing the game, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the game.

1. Using the game

I give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and play the game on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, sell, rent, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the game, except where the law allows it.

If you are under the age of majority where you live, please make sure a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms, especially before buying anything.

2. Your account

The game creates an anonymous online account for your device the first time you play online. It holds your leaderboard entry, koban coins and items. You can link it to your Apple ID or Google account in Settings so it can be restored on a new phone.

If you don’t sign in and you lose your device, delete the app or clear its data, your progress may not be recoverable. You’re responsible for your device and for the Apple ID or Google account you sign in with.

3. Player names and fair play

Your player name is shown publicly on the leaderboard. You agree not to:

  • use a name that is offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening or that impersonates someone else, or that contains your or anyone else’s personal information;
  • cheat, including by modifying the game, editing its memory or files, using bots or automation, or exploiting bugs;
  • interfere with the game’s servers, or try to access other players’ data;
  • buy, sell or trade accounts, koban or items outside the game.

I may change or hide names, remove scores, reset koban or items gained by cheating or bugs, or suspend accounts that break these rules.

4. Koban coins and items

Koban are the game’s virtual coins. You can collect them by playing or buy them in coin packs. You spend them on virtual items for your cat and your cat’s home.

  • Koban and items are a limited licence to use virtual content inside the game. They aren’t real money, have no cash value, aren’t your property, and can’t be exchanged for money, transferred to another player or used outside the game.
  • Coin pack purchases are made through, and governed by, the Apple App Store or Google Play. Their payment terms and refund policies apply. All purchases are final except where those policies or the law where you live give you a right to a refund.
  • If a purchase is refunded or reversed, the koban from it (and any exclusive item that came with it) are removed from your account.
  • I may change prices, items and how koban are earned, and may correct koban or items added by mistake.
  • If you delete your data, or the game is shut down, unused koban and items are lost. If I ever shut the game down, I’ll give at least 60 days’ notice in the game or on wrinklejump.ca and stop selling coin packs right away.

5. Changes and availability

The game is updated from time to time, which can change, add or remove features. I’ll try to keep it running, but I can’t promise that the game or its online features (the leaderboard, sign-in, cloud save and the shop) will always be available or free of errors.

6. Ownership

The game, including Mizetto the Wrinkleman, its artwork, music, code and name, belongs to Dakota Unrau. These terms don’t give you any rights to them beyond playing the game. Wrinkle Jump uses open-source fonts and libraries under their own licences.

7. Privacy

The Privacy Policy at wrinklejump.ca/privacy explains what data the game collects and how to delete it.

8. Apple and Google

These terms are between you and me, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the game or its content, maintenance, support or any claims about it. If you downloaded the game from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms as third-party beneficiaries. If you downloaded it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

9. Disclaimer

The game is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, I make no warranties beyond those that can’t be excluded by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, I’m not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost progress, koban or items. My total liability to you for any claim about the game is limited to the amount you paid for coin packs in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Your rights as a consumer

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived, including, for residents of Quebec, the Consumer Protection Act. If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.

12. Ending these terms

You can stop using the game at any time and delete your data in Settings. I may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. If a change is important, I’ll also mention it in the game. Continuing to play after a change means you accept the new terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without taking away any protection given by the laws of the place where you live.
